Last week, in our #KonvoConnect Twitter chat we had talked a lot about blogging strategy and the amazing community shared their valuable views & experiences. Here, we come up with some more useful tips on how to craft a blogging strategy.

Blogging not only boosts your SEO and helps you develop potential relationships with your customers but also help you establish your business as a leader in the industry. It helps your brand to connect with people and creates an opportunity for you to share the credibility of your business. Blogging is an inexpensive medium which helps drive traffic to your website helping you target your prospective customers.
So now we all know how important blogging is, but at the same time it is vital that you craft a blogging strategy for your business. Because if blogging not done strategically would fail to deliver your brand’s message to the right audience at right time.
So, Konvophilia has come up with these 7 things you should keep in mind while blogging or crafting a blogging strategy for your business:
1. Blogging Objectives:
Before you even start to blog it is very important that you know the reason for why you want to blog and what all are you trying to attain from it. The goals should crisply be clear in your mind. Only when you have well defined objectives, only then would you attain the results.

2. Target Audience:
After you have defined your objectives, the next step is to decide whom do you want your blog to be useful for? Decide your target audience as later on it would also help you in choosing topics for your content. For Eg: if you are a fast food restaurant then your target audience would be teenagers. So you would write blogs that interests that age group.

3. Content Strategy:
Once you have framed your goals and decided your target audience the next step is to design a content strategy. Your content should be original, unique, and creative and be of interest to your target customers.

4. Design a Content Calendar:
It is very important to design a content calendar. At what days of the week would you be uploading your blog? Would you be posting everyday, every alternate day, thrice a day, all depending upon your strategy.

5. Promotion Techniques:
This is the most important step. No matter how well you have written, if it doesn’t reach the right audience then what’s the use? Adopting SEO techniques, using relevant keywords, creating inbound links in your blog, promoting it on social media, all adds up to enhancing the visibility of your blog.

6. Regularly add/post new content:
Blogging is not a one-time activity. You have to continuously keep it updated and keep adding freshly generated content. Consistent efforts would not only generate visibility but also help in building a loyal audience and make them keep coming to your blog regularly.

7. Audit and Analyze your Content:
This is the final step. Analyze and Audit your performance. What kind of content interests your audience, what is more liked, more visited? At what time there is highest traffic to your website? You should be aware of all these aspects and also consider them when you blog for the next time. If a topic is least liked, do not blog about such topics next time, if a certain genre is widely liked and appreciate write more about it.

Learning the art of blogging is not a one day process. It develops with time. The more you practice the greater you evolve. Keep these minute details in mind and take a step closer towards excellence.

Have a great Monday! And Happy Blogging! 🙂
